McDonald’s introduced this new item – an Oreo Cookies N’ Cream Pie. I heard about it over Twitter, so I thought I would just go to a random McDonald’s to find one. The one I went to had zero signage and it wasn’t on the menu, but the workers knew what I was talking about. They indeed had the pie.
The strange thing is that the new pie doesn’t even has a special box, it’s just a generic Baked Pie box with images of fruit on it. Perhaps it’s a trial product or something. It cost about a buck.
The pie does not look like any of their other pies. Its thinner and smaller. Even though it looks dark, its is not burnt. It’s just a large chocolate cookie-like shell.
The inside is filled with this fluffy marshmallow type of filling. Kinda like the spreadable marshmallow in a can. It was really good and I was pleasantly surprised.
It wasn’t too sweet and was the perfect size. I gobbled it up and left me wanting more.

What the? I had no idea this came out! Thank Gawd you blogged about it, I’m seriously going to head out this weekend with one of my guy buddies and trying it out.
Oooo I was never a fan of Mcdonald’s apple pies, but I loved their chocolate banana pie! Do they still have that? This one looks pretty good too, maybe I should try it out! A bit worried that it might be too sweet though. It looks like a brownie…
I’ve never liked the apple pies either. I don’t think they have the other pies anymore, it’s probably one of those random promotions that just ends up to be a failed product. You could always share the pie with someone if you ever find it too sweet.
I tried this the other day just for the fun…didn’t expect it to be this good!
It must be soooo good.
